The under 18 floodlit team have made an impressive start to the campaign going unbeaten in all games over 90 minutes with only a penalty shootout loss to Royston Town in the FA Youth Cup to their name.

They have won all five league games so far scoring 26 goals and also progressed to the next round of the league cup where they play Newport Pagnell Town this coming Thursday at Creasey Park.

To say their games are entertaining is an understatement! The last two games have seen six goals and nine goals with a 4-2 win over a strong Bedford Town team and a 6-3 win against Newport Pagnell in the league last night.

The team dominated the early stages but were unable to convert their chances to take the lead before Enare volleyed home but the hosts fought back and ended the better team for the second period of the first half and took a 2-1 lead into the break.

A positive team talk at half time and a bit of tightening up defensively as a team contributed to a 6-3 win with Owen scoring a hat-trick.

Missing players through injury and illness they still managed to pick up three more points against a good team who were dangerous on the break.

There is still a long way to go in a strong league but with continued development defensively and offensively the team are in a good place at the moment.

Remember, Gold and Platinum owners can watch games for free!
