Dunstable Town FC are delighted and honoured to be awarded the SSML Sportsmanship Shield for the past season.
The award is the second piece of silverware the Club has received in the past couple of weeks, coming hot on the heels of the Soccer Club Swap Shop Programme of the Year in the SSML, for a second consecutive season, and being voted the 18th best programme in the non-league pyramid.
The Sportsmanship Shield is awarded to the Club who receives the highest sportsmanship scores from match officials for the behaviour of the management team and players towards their opponents and the match officials.
The arrival of Joe Deeney & Kyle Durcan in October last year has brought with it a change in the whole culture at the Club on the pitch, training ground and changing room. The award is richly deserved by Joe, Kyle, the players, Wayne & the Matchday team.
