Dunstable Town Women carried on their good form with a tense 2-0 win over Colney Heath Ladies on Sunday.
Not playing at their best and looking a bit leggy from their efforts against Watford Ladies the week before it needed two second half goals from Kirsty Walker and Lola Cook to take the three points.

The opening half hour brought little clear cut chances for either team but there was an early flash point when Cerys Rees accidentally fell on her opponent after a tackle and the Heath player seemed to strike out at Rees but the referee gave yellow cards to both players.
The first real chance for Town came in the 37th minute when Emily Foster shot just wide.
AJ Hebborn made a fine save with six minutes to go before the break as neither team could make the breakthrough with the visitors shooting just wide moments before half time.

In the 57th minute Walker shot just over but she gave her team the lead four minutes later when she finished from six yards out.
Sian Morris shot over on 68 minutes then with nine minutes left Hayley Smith headed Monet Grace-Wille’s cross just over the bar with the latter then having a shot well saved.
Cook made the game safe when she tapped home on the goal line from a corner with eight minutes left.
