We finally received the DTFC Owners Pin badges last week and on Monday began the process of packing envelopes with membership cards, share certificates and of course badges!

Abby, Adrian, Matt & myself commandeered several tables at The Glider and spread out to ensure that everyone received what they had ordered. Everyone in the UK should receive their orders by the end of this week. Delivery outside the UK will take a little longer but please don’t hesitate in getting in touch with Adrian (membership.dunstabletownfc@gmail.com) if there’s a problem with your order.

Each Owners package comes with between two and six complimentary matchday tickets which will be sent shortly via email. If you are a Bronze or Silver member they serve as a thank you for your support and you are free to use them as you choose. If you are a Gold member and therefore a season ticket holder the idea is that you have the choice of inviting family and friends to come and watch a match with you for free.

Patrick Mackay organised the first Walking Group walk on Tuesday evening. We walked for just over an hour on the country paths at the back of Creasey Park and down what I’m reliably informed is called Green Lanes(s). The route took us to the bottom of The Downs at which point the countryside was replaced by the familiar sight of West Street, and a quiet route back to Creasey Park.

The group is free to join and aimed at everyone who wants to either get more exercise and a bit fitter or just get out of the house and meet other people and make new friends.

All levels of fitness are catered for. The group will meet in the car park at Creasey Park every Tuesday from 6.15 pm and look to leave at 6.30 pm, returning approximately an hour later.

If you would like more information, please contact Patrick (patrick.dunstabletownfc@gmail.com)

The Walking Football group had two sessions this week. We had the pleasure of local MP, Andrew Selous, joining us on Friday for an additional session. Andrew has been very supportive of the Club and our restructure into a CBS.

Andrew was joined by Liz Jones, Deputy Mayor of Dunstable, and Councillor Lisa Bird who is the Chair of Grounds and Environmental Services on Dunstable Town Council.

All three were very interested in the social enterprise model of the Club and our plans to offer more services to different groups.

The Walking Football group returns to normal activity on Wednesday between 11 and 12. For more information please contact Sam (walkingfootball.dunstabletownfc@gmail.com)

We’re still firming up arrangements for the Support group we’ll be running every Monday from September 20th. As soon as we have details finalised, we’ll let everyone know.
