Steve O’Reilly took over the management reigns in May with just one player from the previous season remaining at the club.
He set about the mamouth task of rebuilding the squad with numerous player signings.
Understandably pre-season results were indifferent but there were some good performances especially against step four teams despite the scorelines.

The league campaign started with a home game against Colney Heath where the visitors lead 2-0 until Jamie Ovington scored a late consolation for Town.

A trip to newly promoted Winslow United followed and it was a particularly bruising encounter as Town were physically outfought on the night and went down 2-0 to some poorly conceded goals.
