February brought about a difficult fixture against FC Romania at Creasey Park.
The game probably should’t have gone ahead but after some work byJack from Cut Crew (grounds team) the referee decided to play the game.
Conditions weren’t great but the ball travelled well and Town got the win via the goal of the season, when a superb move from back to front was finished off by Liam.
Given the conditions the one touch passing and movement was simply brilliant to watch. It was vital win to push the team away from the relegation battle.
Unfortunately, Town came crashing down to earth a week later when they travelled to Cockfosters in a game that was not one to remember!
The Blues hardly tested the hosts keeper and conceded three goals without reply, also having Jamie Ovington sent off in the second half.

A quick and positive response was needed and it came with another away game when the team travelled to Colney Heath.
Heath had started the season well but fell away significantly in the second half of it.
Sam set up Luka for the opening goal in the first half with Finbar opening his account for the club in the second period.

One of our ‘bogey teams’ London Lions then came to Creasey Park and another defeat against them looked on the cards as they took the lead but a fine second half performance saw Town turn the game around.
Joe Hankins levelled the game early in the second half before finished another great team goal saw Finbar get the winner.
