The season petered out in April after a good run of form. Town found it difficult to create chances in the last three games as they ended them with a draw and two defeats.
Liam set up Luka for his fourteenth goal of the session at home to Aylesbury Vale Dynamos to give his team the lead but they were unable to find the important second goal.
Jamie Ovington was sent off for a professional foul, which proved a crucial point in the game as the visitors equalised in added time to take a point as Rovers capitalised on the extra man.
Wormley Rovers were chasing a playoff place when they came to Creasey Park. Two early goals in the second half gave them a two goal advantage.
Mulik pulled a goal back with a deflected header but it wasn’t enough to force a fight back.

The final game of the season was at runners up Tring Athletic. It was an evenly contested first half but two controversial moments changed the game.
Tring were awarded a penalty for an infringement by JJ Kenna, which seemed incredibly soft. The spot kick was converted and soon after a second goal was allowed to stand despite there being a handball in the process.

It was a frustrating end to the season but the recovery from the very difficult start was something to be proud of.
The young squad gained a lot of experience and turned things around when the chips were down.
Credit also goes to Steve O’Reilly and his staff for all their hard work.
