Dunstable Town produced a ruthless first half in a fine performance at Creasey Park to defeat Arlesey Town by six goals.
The visitors had an early chance to take the lead in the 5th minute when a Jordan Wright slip allowed an Arlesey forward to go through on goal but Sam Carman made a good save.
The Blues took the lead six minutes later when Luka Lodder’s low driven free kick hit the back of the net at the near post.

It was nearly 2-0 on 19 minutes when Plamedi Bomolo scored but it was ruled out for offside.

Dunstable were a threat at every opportunity in the final third and increased their lead when Wright sent a looping header from Kyle Rahho’s free kick over Arlesey keeper Arun Khan into the net with 25 minutes gone.

Luck was not on the side of Bomolo again soon after when he followed up a chance to score but was again given offside.
Ten minutes before the break great work from Jake Anthony found Lodder who poked the ball home to score his second of the match.

Dunstable, who let a healthy lead slip last week, were in no mood to do the same seven days later as they scored two more goals as half time approached.
On 43 minutes, JJ Kenna bravely won a 50/50 challenge with Khan to send the ball into the net for the fourth goal.

Anthony then hit a free kick from the same position as Lodder’s and also found the net via a nick off an Arlesey defender, leaving Khan rooted to the spot and looking on in despair as the ball found the net again to make it 5-0.

Dunstable brought on new signing Josh Dooley at the break along with Hadley Gleeson.
Arlesey had the better of the opening fifteen minutes of the half. Joe Abe shot wide for the visitors in the 59th minute but the Blues increased their lead further two minutes later when Gleeson struck from edge of the box to make it six.

Lodder almost claimed a hat-trick seconds later but shot just wide.
Carman had to be alert to make a save at the back post on 70 minutes before Abe curled an effort narrowly wide.
Town almost scored a seventh with four minutes left when Kodi Briggs swung in a corner which just missed the far angle of the post and crossbar.
