Dunstable Town FC are delighted to announce a partnership with Education & Sports Academy provider, Pro Direct Academy Luton (PDA Luton). The partnership should see the Club field a strong U18’s side in the National League Youth Alliance League, and FA Youth Cup next season.
The Club needed to fold both the Development Team and Under 18’s in the past year and currently lack a pathway from the Youth Section into the Senior side.
This partnership helps bridge that gap and is a major step forward in ensuring the Club remains competitive in uncertain times.
First Team squad member, Tyler Fry, is a PDA Luton graduate, and we look forward to seeing many more young, talented and ambitious players move on from the new U18’s side into the Club’s First Team.
Club Chairperson, Andrew Madaras said;
“We believe this partnership is vital to the long- term well-being and sustainability of the Club. We are excited about the potential rewards this will bring us. We respect and admire the philosophy and values that PDA Luton promote and represents and believe this relationship can only be a positive move for the Club, our supporters and the local community. We will be seeking membership of the National League Youth Alliance at
the earliest opportunity. The Club would like to wish well all those we spoke to in many weeks of negotiations and thank those who have helped behind the scenes”.
Kevin Randall, PDA Luton Site Leader said of the partnership;
“We at PDA Luton are extremely excited to have secured a partnership with Dunstable Town Football Club. We feel the partnership will enable the Club to grow both on and off the pitch.
Pro Direct Academy bring a global brand to a Community club and enables a Youth player to gain access to pathways within the sport industry. Our partnership bridges the gap between Youth & Senior football. 2021 is going to be an exciting year for football at Dunstable Town.”
DTFC Press Officer Steve Lewington will act as the new U18’s team Secretary & Liaison Officer.
