Danny Nicholls and Jamie Nicholls Appointed Joint First Team Managers

Dunstable Town Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Jamie Nicholls and Danny Nicholls as joint First Team Managers.

Jamie Nicholls, affectionately known as “Jammers” by everyone, is no stranger to the club, having captained Dunstable Town for the 2021/22 season before becoming a coach under former manager Joe Deeney. Since then the former Bedford Town & Leighton player has been honing his coaching talents, waiting for the right opportunity to present itself.

UEFA A Licence holder Danny Nicholls is also no stranger to many within the club, having helped coach a number of sessions for Joe, but is also well known within the non-league scene, with many years of success as manager of Bedford Town and Aylesbury United as well as spells as Assistant Manager at Oxford City & Banbury.

Speaking about the new appointment, Chairman Matt Carrington said “Danny and Jammers faced stiff competition from many well qualified management applications, but after speaking to them about their plans to bring the good times back to Dunstable Town, the selection committee came away with a view of excitement about the future”

The father/son duo officially take charge from Monday, with their first game in charge an away game to Crawley Green the following Saturday.
