Today I visited the clubs’ Walking Football group that takes place at the Dunstable Centre on a Thursday morning.
I met Walking Football lead Ian Bateman and club director, Peter Bottom who were assisted by Louise from Tibbs Dementia Foundation and Katherine a Tibbs volunteer.

This group is run for those with dementia and other conditions that restrict them from playing in more competitive environments. There was also a group for more able participants.
Numbers were very high today, around 40 people turned up. Sometimes the numbers can be lower but it was well managed by Ian.

It’s great to see another community activity the club organises with another local organisation.
