The club can confirm and officially welcome Arran Lamont as the new club secretary.
Arran, 25, takes over from Andrew Madaras who stepped down as chairman and secretary to concentrate on another role within the club.
He will be the youngest secretary in the league and possibly one of the youngest nationally too.
Originally from Glasgow, outside of DTFC he is a Quality Assurance Lead for a pharmaceutical manufacturer.
He did a business degree in Scotland and has had a passion for the administrative/business development side of football for sometime.
He moved down south for a work opportunity and Dunstable has very much become his home away from home.
Arran says “Hamilton Academical (or Accies) were my local team back home, so it made sense to get behind the local team down here.
“I was absolutely blown away by the strong sense of community throughout the club as well as the ownership model.
“I suppose it’s my way of integrating myself into the community, meeting new people and making an impact.”
Arran will be supported by Andrew during the season while he gets used to the role.
Welcome to Dunstable Town FC Arran.
