PETER BOTTOM
Elected to The Board of Directors as Supporters’ Groups Director on 24th June 2022.
I wish to put myself forward to be Re-elected onto The Board of Directors at Dunstable Town Football Club Limited, and hope that the club’s owners will vote for me on the above date.
Background as Supporters’ Groups Director: I was elected to The Board of Directors at The Club’s AGM on 24th June 2022. I then started to integrate with the Football Clubs supporters, introducing myself and promoting what the Football Club is all about on and off the field. In 2023 I started the Owners’ Newsletter which is sent out to 750 people every month via the Clubs database LoveAdmin. I also keep in contact via emails to different groups such as the overseas and walking football groups.
The Blues Together Project – Building Friendships: In August 2024 I started planning a Dunstable Town FC Supporters/Community group. The Blues Together – Building Friendships group was launched in January 2025 with various events, to date we have had four Breakfast Clubs, a Sponsored Walk to an away game, The Globe pub pint and a chat and home match, an afternoon at Mecca Bingo, Luton plus, drink and a chat at The Glider. These events have been very successful with more ideas in the planning! – Bringing our supporters and the community together – Building Friendships’
Looking forward as Supporters’ Groups Director:
When Re-Elected I will be persevering with my work bringing supporters together and try to recruit people to become Blues Supporters and Club Owners. I will also be carrying on my work with the Clubs “Improving the lives of others” program by promoting the support groups we run at various Health & Wellbeing events. I will continue volunteering at The Dunstable Centre with the TIBBS Walking Football group and help out with the Chums & Crumbs group.
Mental Health First Aider: I completed a Mental Health First Aid course in February 2024 and have attended and promoted the Football Clubs community work at various Mental Health presentations and networking events. I also volunteer on a match-day as a Mental Health First Aider offering support to those in need.
Overview: I see myself as a very approachable and honest person, my CV states I have very good diverse practical skills and excellent interpersonal communication skills, I am very flexible and willing. I undertook Business start-up courses in 2003 and traded as PB Carpentry with my business trading for 20 years. I managed youth football teams for ten years and was a referee at The Beds FA for 15 years. My position now is to be more involved by communicating with our Club Owners, recruiting more owners and Supporters [home & overseas] there is so much more to do in this area.
Finally:
Please give me your vote so I can achieve my goals, Thank you for reading!

Dunstable Town Football Club
Application for Re-election to Director - Neil Barker
Over the past eight years, I have been proud to serve Dunstable Town Football Club in a variety of leadership roles. These have included Chair, Vice Chair, and Director of Community Relations. Throughout this time, I have remained deeply committed to the growth, sustainability, and community engagement of the Club.
In addition to my formal positions, I have played an active role in the Club’s commercial operations, helping to drive sponsorship and fundraising activities, as well as enhancing match day income generation . As a club, areas critical to our financial stability and long-term development.
Currently, I serve as Director of Football, a position I have held for the past two seasons.. This is a developing role which initially focused on the Men’s First Team, but is now expanding to help shape the direction and coordination of all on-field football provision across the Club — including Youth football (boys and girls) and Women’s football. This broader remit is essential to creating a consistent footballing philosophy and a clear pathway for players of all ages and abilities within the Dunstable Town family.
I believe that we are in the strongest position as a club that I can remember , and as I submit this application for re-election to the Board of Directors , I believe I have the drive, experience, and enthusiasm, to contributing further to the ongoing success of Dunstable Town Football Club.
Neil Barker - May 2025
