Football news
Men’s Team
The team have started the season positively, going unbeaten in their opening four games.
They drew 2-2 with Haringey Borough at Creasey Park on the opening day with goals from Luka Lodder and Hadley Gleeson.
Next was a convincing 3-1 win against Potton United at home. All three goals were of a high standard by Luka (2) and Montel Brown.
A difficult trip to Harlow Town saw a crazy last ten minutes when the team were 2-1 up but were pulled back to 2-2 early in added time but a fine goal from Montel in the 98th minute sparked celebrations on and off the pitch.
A below par performance followed on Tuesday night mainly due to fatigue from the previous game saw the team picking up a valuable point in a 0-0 draw at Creasey Park.
They are away to Colney Heath tomorrow at 3pm.
Town draw Hatters in Beds FA Senior Cup
The Blues have been drawn at home to Luton Town in the first round of the County Cup.
The tie will take place on Tuesday 30th September.

Women’s team
The women’s team have had a very good pre-season.
They won five of their six matches and Luke Molloy has added some very good players to the squad.

Sixty years shirt - Limited sizes left
The club in association with VX3 have designed a bespoke shirt to mark 60+ years at Creasey Park.
Predominantly white in colour, it includes images of Creasey and DTFC history. White was the original colour back in 1964.
It will be worn once in a competitive match at the start of the season.
