Football News
Men’s team
The team have progressed in two cup competitions having beaten Cockfosters 4-2 in the Gladwish Trophy and Sawbridgeworth Town 2-1 in the Premier Division Cup.
Hopefully league form will pick up soon. A number of new players have arrived but there have been difficulties with injuries, illness and unavailability which has had an affect on selection.
They are back in league action tomorrow with a trip to Arlesey Town.
Bedfordshire Senior Cup v Luton Town
We can confirm admission prices will remain the same as league matches for the Bedfordshire FA Senior Cup match against Luton Town.

Women’s Team
The team have had bad luck with a number of injuries in the last few weeks.
After progressing to the 3rd qualifying round of the Women’s FA Cup they fought really well against step five Wroxham before unfortunately losing on penalties.
They defeated Colney Heath 2-0 in the league before the loss to Wroxham.
A threadbare squad travelled to Hutton Ladies in the next round of the league cup but unfortunately lost 3-0.
A below par performance saw the team defeated 3-2 at home to Thetford Town last weekend.
Missing so many players has been tough on the squad which include Cerys suffering a knee injury the have also had injuries to Shannon, Bailey, Sian, Nicole and longer term absentees Daisy and Darcy.
Luke is working hard to find reinforcements.
Congratulations to Luke for winning the manager of the month for September after impressive FA Cup and League wins.
Under 18’s Floodlit Team
The youngsters have had a great season so far. Since the last update they have beaten Buckingham 5-0 and Bedford Town 4-2 in the league then won 6-3 at Newport Pagnell Town.
Heavy rain caused the postponement of the Brian Hitchings Cup game against Newport Pagnell on Thursday.
They have a week off this coming week before hosting Shefford Saints in the County Cup on 6th November.

It’s very informal and relax. A great way to meet new people and take time out from any stress.

The club have collaborated with March Together 32 to organise a support evening for those who have suffered bereavement following the loss of friends and family through suicide.
