Women’s senior football returns
The club have announced the return of women’s senior football to Dunstable Town FC.
They have appointed Luke Molloy as manager who has a good reputation for developing players and knowledge of local women’s football.

New club secretary
The club have confirmed the announcement of Arran Lamont as club secretary.
He takes over from Andrew Madaras who will concentrate on relationships with the FSA and community work the club does.

Under 18’s trials well attended
The trials session took place last Sunday with 40 participants taking part.
There will be a trial game this Sunday after the group was narrowed down following the initial trial.

Walking football for dementia
On Thursday I visited the clubs’ Walking Football group that takes place at the Dunstable Centre on a Thursday morning.
I met Walking Football lead Ian Bateman and club director, Peter Bottom who were assisted by Louise from Tibbs Dementia Foundation and Katherine a Tibbs volunteer.
This session caters for those with dementia and other conditions plus more able people.

Men’s Mental Health Support Group
A free group to just chat and socialise with no pressure to talk.
It’s very informal and relax. A great way to meet new people and take time out from any stress.
June Breakfast Club
The next Breakfast Club at the Fly-by-Cafe takes place on Tuesday 17th June at 10am.

Walking Club
On Sunday 29th June the first Walking Club event will take place. A short route has been planned for the initial walk which will be at Dunstable Downs.
Cricket match afternoon
Blues Together is also planning on attending a cricket match at Dunstable Town Cricket Club in July.
This is to support a fellow community sports club and also for people to enjoy an afternoon out in a great environment and scenery.

Women’s Walking Football

Sessions are all about growing female football participation, improving fitness, offering an alternative way to exercise and continue to enjoy the game in a relaxed, welcoming environment away from competitive leagues.
