Volunteer Vacancies

We’re Dunstable Town FC, 100% community and fan owned. We’re a Community Benefit Society and operate as a social enterprise. We are very different to every other football club around. This is football with a difference. Football for the people by the people.

No wealthy benefactor, here today and gone tomorrow. Just the honest endeavours of several dozen fans all working together for the common good and the common goal.

A sustainable future is what we’re after. Equal accessibility and opportunities for our men's and women’s teams at all stages of the Club’s development.

Our Club is owned by our fans from across the globe in Australia, Canada, Cameroon, USA and many other countries and of course much closer to home.

We’re a Club on a mission and with a purpose. Football with a conscience and the desire to improve the physical and mental well-being of people living in our local communities.

Our Wellbeing programme, Improving the Lives of Others, provides nine hours of mental health peer support every week, in addition to a collaborative group with Titan PCN to support people who may be lonely and socially isolated.

Five Walking Football groups every week cater for people who just want to improve their fitness while two separate groups provide specialist support for adults with complex needs or for people living with Dementia, the latter a joint venture with Tibbs Dementia Fellowship.

That’s us, now what about you?

We recognise that our Greatest Asset Is Our People and we’re looking to welcome even more volunteers into the Club.

Do you have some time to spare and a desire to help make a difference to somebody’s life?

There are a number of positions we need additional support with.

Club Secretary & First Team Match Secretary to manage the Club’s affairs with the FA & the Spartan South Midlands Football League.

Club Ownership Recruitment Manager. As we continue to grow, we now need someone whose sole responsibility is to increase the number of individual fan owners.

Club Reporters. As a Community Benefit Society, our community activities have equal importance as our results on the field. Between Monday and Friday, we concentrate our energies on our community support groups but when Saturday & Sunday come it’s all hands-on deck to support all our football teams at whatever level they play. We’re looking for someone who can report on the Club’s community activities and keep our fans up to date with what we’re doing.

Blue Card Manager. All our individual owners are eligible to apply for a free Lifestyle card to enjoy discounts and benefits nationally. Closer to home though we have negotiated a series of discounts at local shops and restaurants for our owners. We want to expand the number of local businesses we partner with to reward the loyalty of our owners. Do you have the skills to be the person who can both sign up and look after local tradesmen and businesses prepared to sign up to the new Blue Card scheme?

No prior experience is necessary as all new post-holders will receive full training and support.
