Joseph Chidyausiku, our 19-year-old centre forward, was born in Farnborough, Kent and lived and went to school in London. Jo as he likes to be called is currently studying for a university degree in Biological Science. He is 6 feet 1 and modestly describes himself as a “perfect striker!”. Joking apart, his friends have nicknamed him “Baller Jo” in admiration of his footballing skills which have been on display to Dunstable Town fans in the last few games.
Jo has played for Hadley FC, managed by the former Chelsea, Spurs and England midfielder Mickey Hazard, Rayners Lane FC and has progressed through the club’s Development Squad in recent months.
Interestingly, a number of senior non-league, as well as professional teams have invited Jo along for trials, including, Boreham Wood, Dartford, Charlton Athletic as well as Fredrikstad FK in Norway and Armenia Bielefeld in Germany.
Jo is another emerging talent amongst our youthful squad that will catch the eye this season.
