Dunstable Town sign new goalkeeper Jamie Head

January 22, 2016

Dunstable Town are pleased to announce the signing of new goalkeeper, Jamie Head.

The 21 year old returns to his hometown, Dunstable, two years after he left.

His spells at other sides include Biggleswade Town, Hemel Hempstead Town and Cambridge City.

Jamie said: “It is nice to be back at the club, I am from Dunstable, so it is nice to be back playing for my hometown club.”

The club has been promoted since Head left, with the new man between the sticks impressed with how much the club has improved.

“The whole set up has changed, it looks really professional, they have changed a lot from top to bottom, the new set up and regime is really good.”

With the club in and around the play-off places, he also thinks promotion could be a possibility.

“It is definitely what you have got to aim for [promotion], isn’t it?

“The team have put themselves in a good position already, so there is half a season left to really kick on and push towards promotion.”

Come and watch Jamie make his debut for the club this Saturday, as Dunstable Town take on Dorchester Town, with a 3:00pm kick-off at Creasey Park.
