After a 2-0 loss at home to Cirencester, Dunstable town manager Tony Fontenelle said it’s going to be a poor end to the season.
The Blues played four games in the space of a seven days last week and the starting eleven looked tired when they took on mid table side Cirencester at the weekend.
Fontenelle said: “We were a bit flat, obviously it was our fourth game in a week, I am disappointed with the result.
“But when you take into account the toll the previous three games have taken on the lads, it is going to be a disappointing end to the season.
“It’s a shame to see, we’ve got two tough away games and then two home games, I was hoping we could have a high finish, but we’ve got a
couple of knocks, so it is going to be difficult.”
With Dunstable travelling to Frome Town on Wednesday evening, Fontenelle knows his side have to be at their maximum in order to get a decent result.
He said: “There is no easy game and you can’t rest on your laurels, the good thing is the lads have had a good rest and hopefully we can get a good result.
“They [Frome] have changed their squad a bit since the start of the season and at the moment they are one of the form teams, so it is going to be another tough game.
Dunstable travel to Frome Town this Wednesday night with the match kicking off at 7:45pm.
