The past week was a frustrating one at the time however there are many positives to take from it.

Last Saturday we faced Bidedord who are currently sitting at the foot of the table with not much hope of getting out of one of the relegation places.

In previous weeks Bideford's results had improved dramatically and many teams had been frustrated by them especially at home.

We were dominat from the beginning however the ball was just not going in the net.

There keeper made some very good saves to keep the scores level and the longer the game went on they seemed to grow in confidence and I did fear we could have conceded a late a goal.

The game finished 0-0 and our baron run infront of goal is continuing.

The positives were; defensively we looked good again and I think we now haven't conceded from open play in about three games.

Going forward I think the whole team needs to take more responsibility just like how the team pulled together when defensively we weren't as stable.

Moving into the weekend it will be important that players like myself maximise our opportunities from set pieces to take some pressure off the players upfront.

As mentioned last week we don't want to finish this season with a whimper and we have another good opportunity against Paulton to score some goals and gain confidence once again.

There is still plenty of time push our way into the play offs and I am confident that if we keep working hard we will get back to the success we experienced earlier on in the season.
