Dunstable Town boss Tony Fontenelle said he is happy with the ‘honest bunch of lads’ at his disposal ahead of their away clash at Chesham United.

The Blues have a fully fit squad for tomorrow’s match.

Dunstable currently sit third in the Southern Premier Division, whilst Chesham are 19th, but have six games in hand over tomorrow’s (Tuesday) visitors.

Fontenelle said: “They’ve got one of the highest number of games in the league to play and once they start getting some results, they’ll push up.

“If they won all their games in hand, I think they would only be three points behind us, so tomorrow night isn’t going to be an easy game.”

If the Blues win the game, which they were supposed to play at the beginning of January, it could see them sit within three points of top spot.

But Fontenelle is happy to see that his players know they need to keep their heads down in order to stay where they are in the table.

He said: “I think the lads are realistic, I’ve got an honest bunch of lads so I don’t think I really need to keep their feet on the ground.”

The match takes place at The Meadow on Tuesday, with a 19:45 kick off.
