Eversley and California 1-2 Dunstable Town The second game in less than 2 days was a journey down to Hampshire.
The first half saw Dunstable play some great football and create chance after chance and was no surprise when Lee Mooney opened the scoring on 11 minutes following a great move which started on the edge of of our own box. James Lauder tracked his runner and timed his challenge perfectly before laying off to Jordan Gill to play a first time ball into the channel for Ashwin Chinjekure to latch onto then drive into the box and set back for Mooney to shoot past the keeper. Dunstable continued to dominate but had to wait until the 44th minute to double their advantage when Nathan Mullings fired home to make the half time score 2-0. The second half saw Dunstable continue to have the upper hand, that was until the last 10 minutes. The Thursday night game was now beginning to take its toll and the lads were looking a little leg weary. Eversley took advantage of this and halved the deficit with 8 minutes left on the clock with a close range header.
Dunstable managed to hang on though to maintain their position at the top of the league with a 100% record.
