THIRD TIMES A CHARM FOR DUNSTABLE

It’s been a long time coming and now it’s finally here- It’s the Local David and Goliath Derby and the Blues are confident of a win.

In the 2007/8 season Dunstable town took on the mighty local Luton Town in the original home Derby and the Blues came out as champions of the Bedfordshire Premier Cup. In 2012/3 the two local giants came head to head again and Dunstable walked away victorious in the Beds Premier Cup with a 1-0 win.

Fast forward 4 years and Luton Town are now in league two in a secure 5th position and the time has come for them to face the mighty blues again… and we bet they are quaking in their football boots!

Dunstable Town take on Luton Town in the semi-final of the Beds Senior Cup on 9th February 2017 at Dunstable’s Home Creasey Park at 7.45pm. This promises to be a David and Goliath match where the ‘little guy’ takes on the team from league 2 and one not to be missed.
