Dunstable secured their second successive win, both away from home, when they accomplished a league double over Cambridge United at Westwood Road. An unchanged team from the win at Banbury United saw them take a fifth minute lead when Vences Bola has encroached in the Lilywhites’ penalty area to slot in a cross to Danny Talbot who flicked the ball beyond Enol Ordonez.

With the hosts having lots of possession but lacking in their finishing Dunstable looked dangerous on the break and by twenty-one minutes were 2-0 ahead, having exploited some defensive dithering. An unintentional back pass was seized upon and Vences Bola tapped in from close range. The home side made little of their set pieces and corners, and posed little threat to Jamie Head, playing against his former club.

The second half did not match the first in terms of skill and excitement, but whilst the home side were noticeably errant ion their finishing, Bola, Cathline and substitute Bossman ought to have increased the lead for the visitors. Bola, in particular ought to have converted his best chance when, free of his marker he had only the keeper to beat but he put the chance wide.

But Dunstable looked comfortable throughout and secured a second successive clean sheet and maximum points in both games.
