MIND, Mental Health and Wellbeing An FA Cup Quest Alex Alexandrou and Louie Alexandrou We have written this piece as football and society have shut down to combat the spread of Covid-19. We hail all the heroic health workers and many others who are putting themselves at risk and making enormous sacrifices to treat those affected by the virus and stop the spread of this disease. However, we would like to lift the spirits a little, make some connections with the Club’s history and help people think a little more about mental health and wellbeing. We would like to do this by taking you on a football journey that has been our unintended FA Cup Quest this season. As many of you know, the team is

Development team beat Westfield.

Thursday night under the lights at Creasey Park saw the development team take on Westfield FC in Suburban league, with the only goal coming from centre back Kieran Ogden. It was good to see ex under 18 keeper Gianluca Sinatra starting in goal and ex under 18 striker Godlove Oppong on the bench, also for blues first team players Chris Stapleton and Cameron brooks coming back from long term injury both featuring. Also missing from the line up was Marlon Burton who made his first team debut as a second half sub against Eynesbury Rovers last week. The blues could of gone in 2-0 at half time with the goal from Kieran Ogden and another header that just went wide from Ogden. The second half was end

Tune in on Wednesday.

Good morning all. On Wednesday 11th of March at 7.30pm, our manager Gareth Jackson and assistant manager Ryan Sturges will be on Luton & Dunstable Hospital radio. They will be live on the Midweek House Party show with Terry Hedges. If you go onto the L&D Hospital website it will give you information on the various ways to tune in. This station has a vast reach for listeners and is not just confined to those in hospital, so it's a good way of getting exposure for Dunstable Town FC. Who better to spread the word than our first team management. If you can, please listen in! Regards Peter Burrows Community engagement officer.

After a spell of inactivity due to postponements, Dunstable Town returned to action with an impressive 2- 1 victory against Eynesbury Rovers, lifting them to thirteenth in the table. Goalkeepers Dan Gould and Shay Griffiths both had routine saves to make in the opening stages of the game, but the first real moment of note was when Joe Hankins took a wonderful ball into the box neatly, rounded Griffiths and slotted into the empty net, only to be denied by a very questionable offside call. Jamal McKenzie-Lowe had the first clear sight of goal for the visitors, sending a glancing
