Dunstable Town 2-2 Barton Rovers 20/07/2019 15:00 Written by Patrick MacKay/Pictures by Liam Smith. After a summer of preparation, the Creasey Park grounds team have once again provided a magnificent playing surface, one that many players will no doubt relish playing on in the coming season. Today was the first game of the pre-season to be played on the main pitch, with Tony Fontenelle's Barton Rovers visiting. The opening exchanges saw neither team dominating the other, but Rovers probably had the better of the few chances, putting two close-range efforts over the bar from corners. After some liquid football through the centre of the park, Dunstable had their first notable effort on goa

Back in the Quadrant....

As the build-up to another season continues and teams use the important pre-season games to get their squads prepared in every way, we at Dunstable Town are no different. With Gareth and Ryan working hard to get the blend and balance of our squad just right, off the field the club are also working hard to attract both supporters and potential sponsors to the club. So if you want to know more about Dunstable Town FC, why not come down to our stall in the Quadrant this Wednesday, 24th of July from 9am to 1pm. As a community based club we are open to all enquiries, and see engaging with local people as a key part of who we are. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday. Regards, Peter Burrows

Dunstable Town 1-1 Ampthill Town July 10th 2019 19:30, Written by Patrick MacKay and Picture By Chris White (Cupcake 99 Football photography) After an impressive start to pre-season for Gareth Jackson's Blues, a much-changed line-up was to face a stern test in the form of Ampthill Town. This was to become clear very early on, when Ampthill broke down the left, and a cutback was put over the bar, much to the relief of all in blue. Both sides would go on to miss further early chances, most notably when a Dunstable Town free kick struck the post, before Ampthill Town took the lead on 12 minutes. The early goal woke the blues up, and they began to look dangerous down the right, with Chris Stap

Fan Match Report vs Unite MK

Unite MK 0-3 Dunstable Town 06 July 2019 12:00 The second game of pre-season saw Dunstable Town taking a trip along the A5, to Manor Fields, home of Unite MK. A number of new faces took to the field, in what would be an important opportunity to impress managerial duo Gareth Jackson and Ryan Sturges. The Unite MK defence failed to deal with Ben Collins' early ball into the box, and were punished when Chris Stapleton showed amazing athleticism and accuracy to fire home a bicycle kick from 17 yards out. 40 seconds on the clock, 1-0 to the visitors. Collins, along with other returning players Kieron Ogden, Daniel Trif and Davide Pobbe showed their experience in the first half, controlling the g

The Town are back in action.....

DUNSTABLE TOWN (3) 8 v The 61 FC (Luton) (0) 0 This time last a year ago pre-season friendly’s against nominally lower placed teams in the football pyramid gave Dunstable Town some real struggles. Bovingdon, Crawley Green, Arlesey, Harpenden, all came to Creasey Park and gave our lads a stern test and the managers a headache or two before the season had even started. Tonight we entertained 61FC (Luton) from the second division of the Spartan South Midland League, who despite the scoreline gave a pretty good account of themselves particularly in the first half when only trailing by a solitary goal, a penalty in the first few minutes of the game, matched Dunstable’s work rate and effort and
