At this stage last season Dunstable Town lay uneasily in 23rd position in the Premier Division of the Evo-Stik Southern League with 12 points accumulated from 26 league games, had scored 15 times and had conceded 80 goals. Dunstable Town FC are appealing to their supporters to make a small donation of tinned or packet foods which we will take with us to Peterborough Sports FC on Saturday. Peterborough Sports have arranged a collection for local foodbanks which we would like to whole heartedly support.

With five of the EPL matches drawing this weekend, it accounted for seven of the remaining eight players, leaving Harry to scoop the winnings of £55 thanks to Newcastle's victory over Stoke City.

The return of the Premier League also sees the reboot of our successful Last Man Standing competition.

It’s fairly simply. Just pick the winner of one Premier League match. If your selection wins you progress to the next week. Lose or draw and you’re out and you are ridiculed for your appalling football knowledge for the remainder of the season.
